Reifenhäuser electrifies pupils

How do you get young people excited about science and technology? For example, with experimental kits for school lessons. Reifenhäuser sponsors two fully equipped "TuWas! boxes" for the elementary schools GGS Sieglar and KGS Schlossstraße.

Teachers and students can use them to learn how to carry out age-appropriate biological and physical experiments and build electric circuits, for example.

"The concept of the 'TuWaS!' project is convincing: During our school visits, we were able to experience the enthusiasm of the students for experimenting. We are already looking forward to our future trainees!", says Dr. Monika Küpper, who accompanies this social project of the Reifenhäuser family as a sponsor.

The background is the company's involvement in the "TuWaS!" project of the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg and Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce. It supports schools in establishing research-based learning in grades 1 to 6. The aim is to get students interested in STEM subjects and science and technology at an early age.

For us as a family-owned company headquartered at the Troisdorf site, training has always been an important concern.
