Reifenhäuser family continues generous donations to "Der Karren" association

Social responsibility

The Reifenhäuser family continues its support for the diaconal association "Der Karren e. V.", having already donated a new kitchen for a residential community at the beginning of the year. With another generous donation in the amount of 10,000 euros, the shareholder family again shows its commitment to people with disabilities and senior citizens in Sankt Augustin and the surrounding area.

The donation is intended to further improve the quality of life of the residents: In addition to the construction of stable pavilions as sun protection for the garden and measures for heat protection in the houses, leisure activities such as a covered wagon trip will also be made possible.

Ute Reifenhäuser, accompanied by her daughter-in-law Andrea and one-year-old Clemens, recently visited a residential community in Sankt Augustin. The lively Clemens in particular delighted the residential community with his energy and cheerfulness, as such young guests are seldom encountered in the house. The warm welcome of the nine residents touched the family deeply. During a tour of the house, the residents proudly presented their rooms, which are characterized by colorful walls and a shared passion for Roland Kaiser and Andrea Berg.

"We are overwhelmed by the continued support. These donations allow us to continue our work and enable people with disabilities and seniors to live self-determined lives. The new kitchen we received thanks to a previous donation has already made a big difference. We are grateful for the continued support of this project, as people with disabilities often remain invisible," said Gabriele Siebert, member of the board of "Der Karren", delighted about the renewed donation.

Ute Reifenhäuser was deeply touched by the warm reception and emphasized her joy that her family continues to support this important project. She also expressed her high regard for the dedicated team around Gabriele Siebert, who work with devotion for the residents.

In addition to care services for people with disabilities and outpatient care for seniors, the "Karren" maintains eight residential communities in the region. 62 adults with disabilities have found their home here
