Catching up with fun! - Reifenhäuser supports Summer School of the Kinderschutzbund Siegburg

Learning together, laughing, doing something - the project "Catching up with fun" of the Kinderschutzbund OV Siegburg e. V. (DKSB) has made exactly that possible for many students at Siegburg schools. The Reifenhäuser family heard about the project and supported the implementation of this learning and care program at Siegburg schools last summer with a donation of 10,000 euros.

School is the place where students acquire knowledge and skills and experience community. The lockdowns of the Corona Crisis were a stark blow, resulting in gaps in the school curriculum for many children due to distance learning.

The DKSB in Siegburg, as the sponsor of the open all-day schools at the Alleestraße Municipal High School and the Adolf Kolping Community Elementary School, saw a need for help here and, together with teachers, trainee teachers and learning coaches, organized the one-week program of lessons and leisure activities such as sports, dance and art clubs
