Courage for the Future - Help for the Women's Shelter Troisdorf
The Reifenhäuser company is tirelessly committed to supporting the weakest in society. The latest Reifenhäuser social project supports the Troisdorf women's shelter. The women's shelter is operated by the association Frauen helfen Frauen e. V. Troisdorf, which has been in existence since 1993.
At the annual family weekend, the entrepreneurial family decides which charitable causes in the region to support. Everyone can contribute ideas for the recipients. In this way, Reifenhäuser as a successful company assumes social responsibility for the region and the people who live here.
The women's and children's shelter offers women who have become victims of domestic violence a first place of refuge. Here, the women and their children find protection from further violent attacks by their husbands, fathers and/or sons, other family members and their social environment. The dedicated women's shelter team wants to offer the children protection, stability, security and an environment that promotes trust and gives them a lot of courage for the future.
In addition to a protected living space, the team at the women's and children's shelter offers counseling sessions, crisis intervention, help with legal problems, advice on parenting issues and, ultimately, encouragement to lead independent lives.
