Michael Davis and his basketball club "Davis Sport" receive generous donation from Reifenhäuser family

Michael Davis was able to earn his place in the football and basketball world in the 1990s through hard work and tireless dedication. His exceptional skills earned him the title on his team as the "greatest player in the history of the Cologne Crocodiles." But what makes Davis stand out is his commitment to kids.

"I was given a chance to make my dreams come true. That's exactly what I want to give children today. My goal is to bring them closer to the sport of basketball and to teach them the right values: Responsibility, respect and discipline. I want to help kids reach their full potential and grow up to be confident and respectful people," says Davis, who himself comes from humble beginnings.

Support for Davis' initiative also comes from the local area. The Reifenhäuser family has decided to support the "Davis Sports" association. The ceremonial handover of donations took place at the end of July during a visit to the association by Simone and Lena Reifenhäuser, who accompany the project as sponsors.

"We are really impressed by the work Michael and his team are doing. Inclusion is an important topic, and this project not only promotes athletic success, but also cooperation and respectful interaction among the children," says Simone Reifenhäuser.
Thanks to the support of the Reifenhäuser family, the club is now able to improve its infrastructure, expand training opportunities and support talented young players. A special highlight is the annual Basketball Summer Camp in the USA, where children from Cologne spend a week fully dedicated to basketball with American children. This is a unique opportunity not only to develop their athletic skills, but also to gain valuable experience in an international environment.

With this donation, the Reifenhäuser family, a long-time supporter of charitable projects, once again demonstrates its commitment to promoting youth and sports in the region.
