Troisdorf, June 21, 2017| They've done it: 58 trainees of industrial metalworking and electrical professions from Bonn and the Rhine-Sieg District successfully passed their exams. The new industrial mechanics, metals technology specialists, cutting machine operators, machine and plant operators, aircraft and tool mechanics were handed over their certificates in a festive ceremony at Reifenhäuser in Troisdorf.
"Finally over“ or something like that was posted on social media by the young professionals after they had received their certificates of apprenticeship. Happy and proud to have passed the final exam after intense training during three or three and a half years, the job starters celebrated the end of their education and vocational training on 31 May. Ralf Gehrke, chairman of the committee of IHK Bonn/Rhine-Sieg, extendend his congratulations: "A lot of praise to the next generation of specialists. All trainees have passed the exam with good results."
The certificates were handed out by the examination board of IHK Bonn/Rhine-Sieg "at the top“, i.e. in the rooms right at the top of the modern Reifenhäuser administration building with a roof-top terrace and view to the Siebengebirge mountain and Cologne. "The perfect setting for this special ceremony“, said Ralf Gehrke. The nice atmosphere was also "liked" by the trainees: "very nice". "Panorama“.
Klaus Reifenhäuser, member of the management board congratulated the new skilled specialists: "With the successful completion of vocational training you take a big step towards the future. Your professions are very important for Bonn/Rhine-Sieg as an economic venue. Be motivated to look forward to your next tasks.“ Well trained specialists who are proactive and take on responsibility are now more important than ever. German mechanical engineering enjoys a good reputation and is known for its quality. This is also the case thanks to skilled workers. "For this to remain the case we need people like you who are enthusiastic about technology and decide to bring in their knowledge in our industry", he adds. Especially the plastics industry with its highly specialized technologies requires skilled personnel ready to develop themselves further.
Reifenhäuser's focus in promoting qualified young professionals is on the company's own vocational training workshops where currently traineeships in six professions are offered. At the company's Troisdorf location technical training is possible for electronics engineers, industrial mechanics, mechatronics engineers, cutting machine operators, warehouse logistics specialists and metals technology specialists. Shortened traineeships of two years are partly offered within the framework of "Reifenhäuser dual studies" (DSR). Ten new trainees will start in September.
